Diagnostic musculoskeletal ultrasound
A diagnostic musculoskeletal ultrasound (MSK ultrasound) is a non-invasive imaging technique used to assess muscles, tendons, ligaments, joints, and soft tissues of the body. It uses high-frequency sound waves to create real-time images of these structures, which can help diagnose various conditions such as:

Tendon injuries (e.g., tears, inflammation)
Muscle strains
Joint problems (e.g., bursitis, arthritis)
Ligament tears or sprains
Soft tissue masses (e.g., cysts or tumors)
Unlike MRI or CT scans, musculoskeletal ultrasound is often preferred for its portability, ability to visualize soft tissues in real-time, and lower cost. It can also be used to guide injections or aspirations in some cases.
The procedure involves placing a gel on the skin to help transmit the sound waves, then moving a small handheld device (called a transducer) over the area of interest. The ultrasound machine then converts the sound waves into images that a healthcare provider can analyse.

James
My shoulder pain stopped me from playing sports. Now, I’m stronger than ever, thanks to their care!

Angela
I have suffered with golfers elbow for around 2 years. Lots of exercises, injection nothing seemed to relieve the pain. Until I attended a course of treatment from Magic hands physiotherapy. I would recommend Sundar to anyone. He is very empathetic and this really has made a difference to my daily life. I've got one treatment to go but it's 85% better than it was. I'm hoping for even more by the time the last one is done.

Loo Marie
After receiving treatment from Sundar at Magichands Physiotherapy, I am over the moon with the results. After suffering from severe foot pain from Plantar Fasciitis, the shockwave treatment has helped so much with the discomfort and pain. Would highly recommend.
